Just a short 30-minute drive from the capital Stone Town is the Tropical Spice Country, where you will be in a green and fragrant grove environment, where you and your guide (in English) will learn which spices, fruits and vegetables grow on which tree or bush.
The guide will show you in a very entertaining way their life and add many anecdotes, and at the end, after a short animation programme, you will be served fruit and local African food.
Before going home, you will also be able to buy products in the Land of Spices, from spices, perfumes to sauces, I highly recommend the chilli sauce, if they have it, you can use it everywhere and if you are a fan of spicy flavours it is more than excellent.
