3-DAY SAFARI – MIKUMI TANZANIA

Price: on request / 3 DAYS

For a 3-day safari you will only take the things you need for those days, apart from the classic stuff you should still take one long sleeved piece because the mornings are cold, you don’t need a lot of money because you have everything included, for an extra drink or a sanck maybe or for a gift.

But be comfortable in your clothes and shoes because you have a lot of driving to do and stay hydrated accordingly.
In the early hours of the morning a taxi will take you to the port of Stone Town where you will board the ferry to the mainland, Dar Es Salaam to be precise, the journey takes 1h 30 min and don’t be persuaded to take Business class because you will just pay extra for the free passes, you can either find a seat outside on the ferry or inside even in Economy class. When you land at the port of Dar you will be met by your guide Peter (he will have a sheet with your name on it) who will be your guide and support for all the days. The drive to the national park will take about 6hrs stopping for toilet, water, snacks, lunch, the scenery will be different to Zanzibar, much hillier, but you will be driving on a flat road and the hills will just surround you. Depending on the programme prepared by your guide Peter (weather, forecasts of where the animals are, etc. play a role), you will also be inserted into a Maasai village, original, typical, you will get to know their way of life, if you wish, you will also change into one of them and dance with them, an unforgettable experience full of laughter. The route will lead you to your accommodation, which is beautiful and modern, and you will enjoy an all-inclusive treatment. The next day you will have a Safari, I recommend you choose an open jeep because you will be surrounded by animals in a nature park and you will be able to photograph and admire them, I wish you to see all the animals, especially the lions. In the evening you return to the hotel, and the next morning, depending on the program of your guide Peter, you will stop again on safari or go to see the snakes (optional), then you will continue your journey to the port where you will return to Zanzibar in the evening, where you will be met by a taxi to take you back to your accommodation.
