You should head for Mnemba Island in the morning, preferably in clear weather and not too rough seas, the locals say that this is the best time to see the dolphins and swim with them in their natural habitat, but the road to Mnemba Island also offers snorkelling and watching the beautiful tropical fish. The boat trip takes about 30 minutes each way and you can watch the coastline and, if you wish, anchor and have a picnic in the sea. When the sea is shallow enough, the boat can also stop at a dune. A wonderful excursion for a sunny day and, of course, for lovers of dolphins and colourful fish and boat rides.
